The three-level premises offer an array of possibilities:

June 20th, at 17.30 - literary meeting as part of the series
"Ambers of Literature" entitled: The beginning of summer with Miłosz
We would like to invite you to the next literary meeting within the framework of “Ambers of Literature”, which will take place on Thursday, June 20th, at 5:30 p.m. This time we will celebrate “The beginning of summer with Milosz”, during which we will present more widely unknown facts from the life of the Nobel Prize winner, read fragmentss from “The Issa Valley” and together discuss Czeslaw Milosz's work and its contemporary significance. Gabriela Pewinska-Jaśniewicz will be our guest. Traditionally, the Ambra Duo band will also perform. The inspiration to start the summer this way comes from important anniversaries. The year 2024 was established by a resolution of the Senate of the Republic of Poland as the Year of Czeslaw Milosz, on the 20th anniversary of his death. In addition, July marks a round anniversary - 90 years since Milosz graduated from a law school university. Finally, in June 1954 Milosz completed work on the Issa Valley, which means that it is exactly 70 years since the writing of one of his best-known novels. It's hard to imagine better reasons to return to Milosz, to the Issa Valley, and to learn about the lesser-known facts of the Nobel Prize winner's life. See you at Literary! We are creating a true community of Gdansk literature! The event is under the media patronage of the weekly magazine and portal “Always Pomerania”.
Dears, we are not stopping with our literary activities. In 2024 Literacka will become a living book, we are launching the project "Literacka as a book of poetry". We are literally becoming a space for poems. We will also continue the" Ambers of Literature", which will be held quarterly. We invite you to join us! Read more about our initiatives:
